Welcome to my gallery page. After several people have encouraged me to set up a website with some of my paintings, here it is. I am still very much in the learning phase of this art, and I still tend to make more mistakes than successes, but as we learn from our mistakes, the  successes increase.   So look over the paintings, and if you would like comment on them feel free to e-mail me

Landscapes have been by far my greatest motivation. Trying in some small part to capture the grandeur of God's creation in acrylic paint  and place it on a canvas. While, I will never be able to adequately reproduce the Master of all masters in this endeavor, the process brings me great joy. Not all the pictures here are anything I consider good, but they are all a fair representation of me, and my art.

Bob Ross The Joy Of Painting

Art By Phillip Craig At Michaels

It is the quintessential truth that every artist copies something. In trying to evoke feelings in their art, they will observe , take note and reproduce in their own style what they see and feel. In my artistic life there have been four sources of inspiration for me, only three are men. My first source inspiration is and will remain my Heavenly Father, His art in creation is the only true "original" art, the rest of us copy from His hand. He remains, acknowledged or not, the inspiration of all artists. The second source of my inspiration has been Bob Ross, who though no longer with us inspired many like myself to allow our brushes to move freely over the canvas and to inhabit our paintings with ..the Joy Of Painting. Thirdly I am inspired by Jerry Yarnell, whose precise and soft brush touches reveal the magic of the understatement, allowing the viewer's eyes to complete the scene, while leading us gently towards the subject of his painting. Fourth, and most recent is my inspiration by the art work of Phillip Craig, I cannot even define yet what it is about his warm pallet and dimensions that draw me into his work but there is something there, that I would like to add to my own style. As I still remain a student of these and other artists, my paintings are not for sale. When I have achieved "my style" perhaps this will change. I'll let you know. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to visit my little world, and I hope that we will meet again, God Bless You
